Presbyterian Camp and Conference Centers, Inc.

Thank you for visiting our webpage.  We specialize in camps and conferences and would welcome the opportunity to host your next retreat or invite you to one of our special programs.  Please take a few moments to explore the site to see if one of our three camps will meet your needs.   All of our camps are located in the beautiful Southern California mountains and offer scenic beauty, recreational opportunities, delicious food, and  comfortable accommodations.  We take groups as small as 20 and as large as 190.  Our prices are fair and our staff will treat you like kings and queens. Most Southern California cities are within two hours driving distance from one of our camps, so call today and reserve your spot.

Summer Camp 2008

PCCCI is offering three programmed
camps this summer.
 Junior Camp*        July 20-26  Rancho La Scherpa
 Junior Camp*        July 27- Aug. 2  Big Bear Lake
 Junior High Camp* Aug. 3-9  Big Bear Lake 

* Junior Camps are for campers entering 3rd through 6th grades.
* Junior High Camps are for campers entering 7th through 9th grades.

Rancho La Scherpa
Improvements continue to take place on the grounds.  This spring the vespers area is getting a major face lift and a new play field is being constructed in the main camp.

Work parties are needed

for all three camps.  We have many projects to choose from, and if your group works more than 6 hours each day we provide housing and meals for free.  If you are interested please call the corporate office at (909) 866-2360.
 

Summer 2008 Staff Positions Now Open

 PCCCI is currently looking for summer 2008 program staff.  If you are a high school graduate and enjoy working with children click on "Employment" in the menu above to learn more. 
 


 Big Bear Conference Center

2007 was a banner year for attendance at Big Bear.  Each year more and more Presbyterian churches are discovering this wonderful retreat facility.  Improvements continue to be made on the grounds.  In 2007 the fireside room was completely renovated and now offers our guests an excellent meeting room for 60-70 people.

 

New Site Director at Rancho La Scherpa
Conference Center

We are very excited to announce that Jack Drake has been hired as the new Site Director at Rancho La Scherpa Conference Center.   He comes to us with a passion for ministry and a successful business background.  Jack has experience working with youth, marketing, public relations, sales, web design, photography, video production, journalism, program development and multiple staff supervision.  He has also served as an Elder in the Santa Ynez Valley Presbyterian Church, been a Boy Scout leader and started a community ministry for youth and adults in the Santa Ynez area.
